This summer has been a fun one, I guess. We’re back on at the Y, we’ve been to the beach, we’ve been to the waterpark a couple times, the kids have gone to the cabin with Grammy and Grampy, my daughter is now six and repeating Kindergarten because she wasn’t as ready for it as we thought last year, my son is still eight and has moved on to 3rd grade, school will be starting in just a few weeks, and my craptop—I mean laptop—crapped out on me again. This time, it’s more than just another key giving up the ghost. This time, it won’t get out of a “login-sorry there’s a problem restart-can’t fix the problem without you telling me what to do” loop. It’s currently with my bestie’s tech husband, so I’m crossing my fingers but not holding my breath. So that’s where I’m at. I’m on my hubby’s laptop right now to let y’all know what’s what. (It’s a dinosaur — it’s still running Windows 7, hence the need for a new one.)
But I could really use y’all’s help. I need my own laptop. Any chance I can get a little help? If you like what I put out, or just want to help a work-from-home gal out, there are a number of ways to get me closer to a new laptop. You can:
- Buy my books (please! I’d love for more people to read my books! I have four of them published right now, and I’m editing a 5th, sitting on a 6th, and drafting a 7th)
- Become a Patron at the Hearth and Forge Patreon (and get all the behind the scenes stuff from the Hearth and Forge world — and support 3 other authors while you’re at it!)
- Donate via Ko-Fi (quick and simple)
All of my links are on the left menu as well!
I appreciate all of you, my wonderful fans, in every way possible!
Thanks so much!
